Kicking Horse Apres Ski:

Apres Ski at the mountain base:

On warm sunny spring days you will find the patios of Peaks Grill packed with skiers and boarders relaxing with a beverage. Skiers are hard core by day and chill when the lifts close. As with many of the Western Canadian resorts, there are a lot of Aussie staff. As a commonwealth nation it is easy for Australians to get work permits to work in the Canadian ski resorts. The Aussies are wonderfully fun and definitely add an upbeat personality to the environment, after-all, their attitude is that they are on vacation too.

Peaks Grill

Peaks Grill is the primary spot for food and beverage at the end of the day. Some of the on-mountain lodges also have restaurants and bars. Also check out the Kicking Horse Saloon in the Winston Lodge.

Dining And Where To Eat:

There are two quick on-mountain dining options: Eagle's Eye Restaurant at the top of the gondola and Peaks Grill at the base. The Eagle's Eye Restaurant is not the typical quick service cafeteria common in most resorts but is a fine dining establishment with gourmet cuisine.
